Plaintiff was standing on a large rolling press machine in order to assist troubleshooting the “jog” function of the machine which seemed stuck. While on the cylinder press the machine moved crushed Plaintiff’s foot in a lateral direction. Approximately twenty (20%) percent of Plaintiff’s foot was amputated. Defendant argued that Plaintiff’s employer was comparatively at fault.
